The challenge is to post music from Ukrainian composers. Some were subjects of Imperial Russia. Others were citizens of the USSR. And some live in the independent nation of Ukraine.
Ukrainian classical music on WTJU and Charlottesville Classical
This coming Wednesday morning, from 6 am to 9 am, I’ll be programming exclusively Ukrainian music for “Classical Prelude” and “Classical Sunrise.” And this is just a sampling.
