Classical Interviews – Cong Quartet

Formed at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music in the US, Cong Quartet is a professional string quartet performing around Asia, Europe, and the United States.

They’re currently studying at the Heifetz Institute in Staunton and they stopped by WTJU to perform Beethoven’s String Quartet No. 1, Opus 59 IV. “Théme Russe,” Tchaikovsky’s String Quartet No. 1 Opus 11 – II, and an original arrangement of Seiko Matsuda’s “瑠璃色の地球” “Azure Planet Earth.”
